This year, my self-imposed challenge is Pro-Am Showdown, where I take on a commercially produced card I've received (the Pro) and see if I can beat the professionals at their own game with my amateur card.

To add the gold touches, I stamped and embossed the sentiment (Hero) and mounted the panel on gold mirror card, with just the edges showing.

I prefer your card to the pro one! It's a great idea, I have several "pro" cards set aside to CASE one day, now I've seen yours I really must give it a go.

Well done, Marina! Your card is so much prettier than the one with which you challenged yourself. Love the way you've used the two colours on the stamp. That, in itself, was quite the challenge. I can well believe the first attempt was "muddy". I think the addition of the gold foil behind the stamped piece was a brilliant idea. It adds so much elegance.
