Iced Coffee

This little snowman is holding a coffee cup- but, don't worry, it only hold iced coffee, so he won't melt. 

The circle is a snow/stars coverplate, cut into a circle and I used Promarkers to colour the snowman. 

I'd like to enter:

As You Like It  I like both Santa and snowmen - but snowmen are the easiest to colour.

Here's a card for my great-nephew's first birthday. 

The card shape, trees and circles are all die-cuts. The owl and branch are Heffy Doodle stamps, as is the sentiment, The lovely gold marbling was already part of the paper and I used gold number stickers to match,

Inkspirational Challenges - Cold

 

Our new challenge at Inkspirational  is :

Fo rmy DT card I made a bridge card of skating polar bears. The bears are a digi stamp by Jellypark. The trees in the background are stencilled with metallic gilding paste, I stamped the sentiment and side panels and the bridge area is covered with snowfall acetate (which is one of my favourite ever craft products!)

Autumn colours...but not an autumn-themed card. 

Here I stamped the rabbit (Colorado Craft) , masked it and stamed the ground (MFT) and sun (old Craft Stamper freebie). Then I coloured it in with Promarkers.

Inkspirational Challenges - Card Plus Envelope

 

This time , at Inkspirational, Carol has chosen the challenge to make a card with a matching envelope - something I don't think I've ever done before! 

For my DT card, I found an autumnal patterned paper in my stash and repeatedly heat embossed a Stampin Up leaf stamp and cut them out. I used the same paper for a strip on the card and for the envelope. 

We'd love to see what you come up with and don't forget to see the brilliant takes on this of the other DT.

Diving In

 

My daughter asked me to make a 40th birthday card for her to give to a colleague. She sent me a photo of this poster for inspiration:

It took me a while to come up with an idea, but when I saw this card by Carol Mcfarlane, I was inspired to make a card with a diving swimmer. (Carol's card was inspired by an art print too!) 

My card is a bridge card with acetate to support the diver. The diver is a Glitz SVG from the Silhouette store , cut on a digital cutter.  I dry embossed the base and sides and stamped Happy Birthday.
