Library Challenge - The Rose Garden

The new Library Challenge  is The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley. I kind of read this book by accident. I was on my library website, wanting to download something quickly before I went out and I just chose it by the cover. I'm not a big reader of romance but I did enjoy this one, mainly for its time travel plotline and the amazing twist near the end.

For my first card I used boy and easel stamps by Neat and Tangled and a rose stamp that was a Craft Stamper freebie. The sentiment is Clearly Besotted.

I'd like to enter:
Bastel-Traum
Addicted to Stamps
AAA Cards

For my second card I used a Pure innocence Digistamp  and a rose pattern embossing folder.

I'd like to enter:
Seize the Birthday
4 Crafty Chicks  dry embossing
Crafty Cardmakers   embossing

I'd love it if you popped over to The Library and entered the challenge.

Both cards are gorgeous but extra loving the first one and the 'framing' of the paint tube and the art frame x Gorgeous photo on the book cover x

Love these cards - but especially the first one.
Now - about this book - I've never read it, but notice you say it is time travel - which I have now got to read!

How adorable is that easel and such a clever way to include a frame on your card. Thanks for playing along at AAA Cards.

How clever of you to make the ink tube label part of the rose stamp, Marina. I love the soft coloring of your card. Thanks for sharing it with us at Addicted to Stamps and More.

Beautiful projects, having Rose as the central theme. I loved both your cards. The second one looks so beautiful with the rose embossed background, and the pretty girl with the bouquet! Thank you very much for joining us at the Seize the Birthday challenge!
