Embossing and Colour

I was playing around with some dry embossing techniques and decided to put a card together, using the colour pallette at Artistic Inspirations. The technique on the heart is a new one for me ( learnt it from Online Card Classes). You dry emboss, sand the raised area and colour bits of the sanded areas with markers.

I'd also like to enter Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge , 'emboss it.'

Gorgeous card Marina :-) Fabulous embossing and I love how you have added extra dimension with the marker. It really emphasises the 3D effect. The sentiment with the heart and stamped butterfly are beautiful too :-)

thanks for joining us on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I've sanded embossed areas before, but I've never thought of using my markers to color the raised areas. I like the idea! Nice take on the color scheme! Color challenges are the hardest for me to do...
