Bus Birthday
My partner is a 'classic bus enthusiast' who owns two doubledeckers and organises an annual bus event in a seaside town. I think you can see why I made this card! We've been together ten years and it's a challenge to keep coming up with fresh bus-themed ideas!
I found a free 'vector' image of a bus silhouette on the internet, opened it in Photoshop and converted it to a PNG. Then I pulled it into Silhouette Studio , traced it and cut it. I typed in the numbers and sentiment and used 'print and cut'. The seaside background was composed from the picture builder section of My Craft Studio 'Setting the Scene' CD. Then I just inked and mounted everything.
Looking at the front of my bus, bet you can't guess how many candles he'll have on his cake!
I'd like to enter:
CD Sunday For someone special
Little Red Wagon numbers ( hope they're not too discreet)

Love your Number 55 bus! (Oh, the nostalgia of the old Routemasters!) Thanks so much for playing along at Seize The Birthday!
How amazing is your bus for your partner - and personalized, too! He's lucky to have such a thoughtful companion! "Classic bus enthusiast" - super cool - and yes, finding new images must be a challenge! My husband is a road bike and cyclocross race competitor, and finding bike-themed stamps like his (not the 'cruiser' or kid versions) is close to impossible. Once I resorted to inking up his bike tire and making a card with that as an image...I know, the things we do! Great card, and I know he'll love it!

Card making has many advantages, one of them is that you can make THE perfect card for someone. Like you did here. I'm sure you wouldn't be able to find anything close to this in a shop! I love making nautical scene cards, I can definitely see the bg being a great addition to my collection of images!
Oh what a fabulous card Marina! I love how you've created the bus and your beautiful background! Thanks for joining us at MAWTT this week!
