At The Library , Lynda is the Visiting Librarian (Guest Designer) and she's chosen the challenge - The Lion , The Witch and The Wardrobe by CS Lewis .
I read this book as a child. I was really fascinated by the idea of going to another world through a wardrobe.
And I actually had a little taste of what that would be like at an interactive Abba exhibition at the Southbank Centre in London, earlier this year. We looked around a recreation of the hotel room in Brighton were Abba stayed when they won the Eurovision Song Contest. In the corner was a big old wooden wardrobe, not dissimilar to the one on my card. Suddenly, the guide opened the wardrobe door and led us through the wardrobe to a recreation of the Swedish countryside! It was amazing!
Back to my card, I used a wardrobe cutting file from the Silhouette store. The sentiment 'believe in the Magic of Christmas' is by Little Claire'. I stamped and coloured the deer and trees, and stencilled the snowdrift - there's a lot of glitter on the inside panel of the card but it doesn't show in the photo.
We'd love you to join in with the challenge...

I love the concept of this card! Open the doors to reveal what’s on the inside, like an advent calendar. This card design could be used for any scene and purpose. The reindeer scene is wonderful.
Quelle charmante scene Marina, paisible et tout en poésie, merci de jouer face nous chez 52cct, biz
