City Crafter Challenge Blog - Paint Chip Inspired

Not sure why I took the photo at this strange angle!
This week at City Crafter Kirsty wants us to be inspired by paint chips .

My card idea is not very original. I did try some original ideas- but they all looked rubbish. So I gave up and did a Pinterest search and saw a lot of projects using paint chips for buildings. As my brother and his family had just moved, I thought I would make my own version of this idea and give them it as a new home card.

I stamped onto the paintchips using Mama Elephant stamps, cut them out and stuck them on a lilac panel and then onto a dry embossed card base.

I'm really eager to see what YOU can do with paint chips , so please come over to City Crafter and see what the rest of the DT have made - and enter your own project.

I think your card is so clever and I have not seen anything like this before. (I wont look on pinterest x). I love the theme of paint chips and a home card, goes so well together.

Cool! I actually went to a paint shop today as we're planning and moving forward with a refurbishment at home, but no such paint chips in sight, only one for each color. I brought along some, I'm sure they'll come in handy too at some point.
