Watercolour in the Rain

Here's my attempt at the 'smackin acetate' technique, as demonstrated on Technique Time Tuesday .

I used 3 colours of Marvy brush markers, a heart punch, textured pearlescent paper , lilac gems and a Magenta tree stamp.

I stamped the tree twice - first in green and then in black, just offset from the first stamping. I did this because I wanted to keep a soft watercolour look - slightly blurred, like looking out a rain-streaked window. Please don't confuse this effect with my usual, accidental blurred effect!!!

As well as Technique Time Tuesday, I'd also like to enter:
One Stop Challenge Pastel colours
Addicted to Stamps Make your mark
Divas by Design Bingo - gems, punches, buttons

The shadows you've given to the trees by stamping twice using different colored inks really have a great effect. Such a soft and delicate card, I really like it!
