I used Papermania 'Christmas Past' CD. I made two copies of the Father Christmas image and I used the transparency button in Docrafts Digital Designer to make one of them lighter for the background.
I used a sketch from My Time to Craft .
I'd also like to enter Word Play Saturday Challenge, Magical.

lovely card Marina, like the transparent image, thats a great tool to have , i use it a lot with craft artist,you dont get more aged to perfection than Father Christmas, good thinking and thanks for joining us this week.

What a beautiful vintage Santa! I like the effect of the background and your choice of design and colors - this card has a great traditional Christmas feel to it!
That is a really lovely Christmas card and a great take on our theme this week. Nice to see a variation on traditional red for Santa too.
