Inkspirational Sketch January

Here's my design team card for  the Inkspirational Challenges sketch challenge. Here's the sketch:

When I first saw the sketch , I thought 'oh no, it's sentiment as focal point': a style I admire from others but rarely do myself. Then I hit on the idea of letting this cute character from Jellypark hold the sentiment. The sentiment is two stamps from a Stampin Up set. I tried to give the whole card a slightly worn, distressed look by inking and sanding.

Why not join in at Inkspirational Challenges this week?

Wow Marina! I adore this card! The character image is just adorable and I love that she is holding the sentiment. Great distressing on the dry embossing too! hugs,
Ellen
