Two Butterfly Cards

So the theme at Twofer this month is butterflies .... I used the biggest butterfly in an Avery Elle set.

For my first card I white embossed the butterfly, and a Mama Elephant sentiment on pink. Then I added buttons and white enamel dots.

For my second card I used a page from an old dictionary and sprayed it with Antique Linen ink.  I used a circular stitches stamp by 49 and Market and then gold embossed the butterfly, splashing it with black ink. I die cut it into a circle and then cut another circle in black, embossed with  gold ink in an embossing folder (I know, you can barely see it!). Then I sprayed a cream card base and doodled a frame, and stamped the sentiment.

These are just terrific, Marina! I love the butterfly white-embossed with the sediment on pink and outlined by the fun buttons! I've been wondering if buttons will ever make a comeback and good for RR to feature them. Your second design is brilliant with all the elements you put together! I love the circular background which draws the eye to the gorgeous gold-embossed butterfly. When I click to enlarge I can see the detail and texture on the black circle and I love your double-doodled frame! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #29! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell

Two beautiful cards in different styles. I love how yo used buttons and over the edge stamping on the pink one. The second has a vintage vibe with the newsprint, a classy and timeless design.
