Cocktail Shaker

I made this card (for a fantastic work friend) a few weeks ago - I was really pleased with it but I must say, it's not particularly photogenic.  The pink is pinker in real life and the cocktail glass glitters and shimmers...

I designed and cut the cocktail glass it on the Silhouette.

Well, Marina, since this is stunning in the photograph, it must be dazzling in real life. Love that wonderful embossed pink against the diagonally striped black and white. The silver cocktail glass with the 50 which you designed and cut with the Silhouette is a work of art. Lovely, elegant lines and makes a sentiment unnecessary. A wonderful project. Thanks so much for sharing with us for our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

Well, sometimes the photos just don't do justice. But since in this image itself, the card looks totally amazing, I can imagine that it would be looking totally spectacular IRL! Love how there are so many textures, and the pink is really popping out with the striped background. And a shaker card to boot! Totally love it, Marina! Thank you so much for sharing your talent at Seize the Birthday challenge!

It's so much fun to play around in Silhouette, isn't it? I love the card you made. The shaker is really creative, and I love how the lines on the embossed element match those on the patterned paper.

Thanks for joining us for our Cut it Up for our Birthday challenge!
