Spike

I've been aware of CSI Challenge  for a while but I've always been a little intimidated by it - it really has a lot of elements to it,  But as I was on a scrapbooking weekend, I thought I'd give it a try. Here's the brief:
So here's how I met all the elements :
The picture - my layout is about my daughter's cat.
Colours - all in there!
Sketch- yes
EVIDENCE - CHOOSE AT LEAST 3 CLUES
  • floral pattern
  • animals
  • flowers
  • metal (brad in centre of flower)
  • frames - around journalling
TESTIMONY - CHOOSE AT LEAST 1 CLUE
  • Topic: Document something about pets or other animals.
  • Presentation: Write your story inside a frame.
Phew!

Well done you! I'm not a scrapper but I know what you mean by being intimidated on this challenge ... It does seem very complicated ... Wonderful page by the way!

It's really nice to have you play along with the CSI challenge this month. The more you tackle the challenges, the more you'll have a hard time scrapping without them ☺. The colour palette is always a great starting point. Everyone uses the same colours and yet, all the layouts could not be more different.
I really like your interpretation of the sketch. The center strip placed at an angle makes the eye travel from your photo down to the journaling block. The mix of patterned paper is really pretty. Well done. I hope you'll continue to join the challenge. TFS.
