Empty Box Project #5 - Valentine for a Child

My mum somehow acquired some pink deckle- edged cards, and for many years she used to leave one for each of us outside our bedroom doors on valentine's day. They had hearts drawn with biro and a question mark where the sender's name would be. It's a lovely memory.

This card is for my four-year-old grandson. The bubble background is a Creative Expressions stamp  and the fishes and sentiment are from an old magazine freebie by Pink Petticoat - grabbed from my 'empty box project' box.  I glittered up the red bits with Wink of Stella.

On New Year's day I revealed my stamping shame - a big box of unused stamps - and started my Empty Box project. My aim is to work through the box , one stamp/ stamp set at a time and see if I can use them. If I can't use them, I will dispose of them. The aim is to finish with an empty box.

I'd like to enter:

Perfectly Rustics hugs and kisses
Aloha Friday   Valentine's /love
Less is More Little Ones
Addicted to CAS  hugs and kisses

I'm loving your empty box cards Marina and this is just so cute. I have to admit that I have every stamp set you gave used up to now and they are just gathering dust, time to follow your example me thinks!
