I believe I read this book as a child - I read lots of Noel Streatfeild's books , although my favourite was Thursday's Child , which I saw on TV and then read.
For my first card (above) I didn't do anything related to ballet at all! The digi, by A Day For Daisies, really reminded me of the cover, so I had fun colouring it with Promarkers and adding a sentiment.

The second card isn't new ...I just didn't have time to make a second card but I wanted to give an example of a totally different take on the book.

Lovely image and beautiful colouring. Thank you for sharing it with us at CDSunday Plus Wynn DT
Great take on the book, both of them and your first one is super adorable x.
Marina, I think the publishers could use your card #1 as illustration for the book! Both fantastic!

That digi is really very much like the cover of the book, especially the way you've coloured them. Thank you for sharing at CD Sunday Plus.
