City Crafter Challenge Blog - Pencil Me In

I've chosen this week's challenge theme at City Crafter and it is:
Pencil Me In
use a pencil either on or used to make your project.
I have only bought one coloured pencil - a white one - but I have a small selection of pencils that were all free with magazines and are a slightly strange range of colours. I've been trying to use them lately, to see if coloured pencils are something I want to invest in.

My favourite way of colouring images is with markers, but these don't work on black card, so I thought I'd try coloured pencils for this.

I white embossed the Penny Black dogs stamp and coloured it with the pencils. the small sentiment is by Avery Elle and I think the large sentiment is by Woodware.

Our Guest Designer this week is Gio, so I hope you'll come over to City Crafter, see what she and the rest of the DT have done , and enter your own pencil-themed project.

I'd like to enter:

Get Creative  embossing
Brown Sugar  balloons

Your try ouy with pencils on a black background turned out great! The dogs are are cute and the touch of colour is simply beautiful. I love the split sentiment too!

These pencils turned out well on the black background. I lack pencils for that and I don't have pencils good for coloring on Kraft either. I'll see what I find on the craft fair this weekend. I like how these white embossed images turned out, great theme!
