The Library Challenge - Death on the Nile

The new book at The Library is  Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie . I honestly can't tell you whether I've read this particular book - I have read MANY of her books (my parents read them so I started as a young teenager) - but she wrote over 70!

For my first card (top) I picked up on the camels in the background and remembered this very old '3 kings' stamp. I kept it very simple, stamping on kraft and adding a Christmas sentiment.

My second card was inspired by the title - Death on the Nile - haha!  I used a digi stamp of a mummy, printed large and off the page, and coloured it with Promarkers. Then I stamped a Halloween sentiment.

  2. Your cards are great. The first stamp I thought for the cover of was my Three Kings stamp.

My son likes Agatha Christie. I don’t think I have read any, but I ordered this one from the Library to give is a shot. TFS!

  4. I haven’t read the book but I quite recently saw the film version. It’s an awesome book cover, lots to take inspiration from. And as you’ve shown, it can be adapted to fit very different occasions too. I love the simplicity of the Christmas card. And you’ve reminded me of the great effects that can be achieved by cropping an image.
