Inkspirational - Gold Dipped


Our new challenge at Inkspirational is to be inspired by the theme, 'gold -dipped' which has been chosen by Marlena. 


For my DT card I used my big old koi stamp. I stamped it on black with orange Distress Oxide ink and then I heat-embossed the fish's extremities in gold. The base card was a ready-made foiled card, cut to size.

    wow Marina, another DT delight. The Koi just is so amazing in gold like this and wow to finding background shiny card too...this challenge has made us all shine!

    What a great tip for achieving different shades on an image, stamping with ink and only partly heat embossing the image. I haven’t tried using my oxide inks on dark colored paper yet, will have a go! Your card looks beautiful.
