Our new challenge at Inkspirational is:
Pretty much as soon as I saw this word prompt I thought ....mini skirt! I had a few stamps in mind I thought might work, but when I found them, I realised the skirts were too long. So eventually I found a Lettering Delights dingbat font with this silhouette , cut it out on my Silhouette electronic die-cutting machine and made a mini- dress out of patterned paper. To give a Carnaby Street feel, I stamped the London buses and taxis.
I'd like to enter:

I love this! You were the only one thinking about clothing, the idea never crossed my mind, to be honest. This card is so cool, love the strip of DP at the bottom and the stamped buses.
ReplyDeleteOh, so very clever to have a mod girl with her miniskirt as your mini creation Marina! You have the perfect retro paper for it too! Such a fun birthday card! Julia xx
ReplyDeleteMarina… I love how you used the prompt mini! Your card has such a 70s vibe. I love it! Thank you for joining and sharing this week at Tic Tac Toe.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Reminds me of Mary Quant. Inspired touch to put the buses and taxis across too.
ReplyDeleteCoolest card EVER Marina! My gosh, I love the place you took this; it's a such a graphic feast for the eyes.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! You've created an awesome mini skirt card; perfect inspiration for our challenge to explore 'different' directions with the theme. Love this!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great card! I love that you used patterned paper for the dress and that you also used the same paper for the strip at the bottom. Apologies for the late comment. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to Stamps and More!
