Guest Designer at Addicted to Stamps

 

I'm very proud today to be a Guest Designer at Addicted to Stamps !  ATS is a fantastic challenge, run by a wonderful woman (Kylie) and they've had a few months off so I want you all to know that it's back and the challenge is 'Make Your Mark' - so stamping, colouring , so many options....

For my card, it's the first inking of this mouse stamp from a Colarado Craft / Anita Jeram stamp set I bought just before Christmas. I love this set, but I may be controversial in telling you I chopped off the 'Anita Jeram' signature which was attached to the mouse's bottom. I'm afraid this is a pet hate of mine(no pun intended!)  - if you sell the rights to your drawings with the sole purpose of them being used to make craft items, I don't think you get to keep your signature on it. Anyway, no-one's going to think I drew the mouse - the little circles going up to the thought bubble are the pinnacle of my drawing skills. 

So, the 'just a little note' was from the same set and the thought bubble is by Craftwork Cards and the Hello from a lost-the-packet old sentiment set.

    Such an adorable card ! Love all these 3C new stamp sets, the critters are so cute. I myself bought a bunch of them and I didn't have time yet to make the posts for the cards I made. Anyway, I love your card with this darling mouse. Beautiful CAS design and amazing colouring. Thanks so much for being our fabulous Guest Designer this fortnight !

    Terrific card, and wonderful "thought" -- he truly looks to be thinking on that thought! I too just bought some of these adorable stamps, can't way to use them.

    This is just the sweetest! I adore mice - well, assuming they're not in invading our house - and especially like it when we spy them skittering across the sidewalk or grass every now and then on an evening walk.
