The new book at The Library is Forty Whacks by David Kent. This was chosen by Visiting Librarian, Arlene, and I must say, I was surprised and delighted with her choice! I bet this is the first ever craft challenge inspired by true crime.
For my card, I ditched the murder theme and went with the colours , the 40 in the title and the torn paper effect.First I stamped and masked the torn effect stamp. (Woodware). The woman holding the sign is an old Ken Brown stamp , I masked her and stamped the city(Penny Black?) behind her and stamped the 40 with Happy Little Stamper stamps. I coloured it with Promarkers.
