The Library Challenge - Egg Drop

The new challenge at The Library  is Egg Drop by Mini Grey . When my son (now 13) was small we used to love reading Mini Grey's funny and beautifully illustrated books. ( My favourite is The Adventures of the Dish and Spoon).

I stamped and coloured (with Promarkers)  the hens from Newton's Nook - the sentiment is by Heffy Doodle. I'm ridiculously proud of my grassy border.... I repeatedly partially stamped an egg from the NN set and then drew (yes, that's right I drew!) the grass around them. Mini Grey better watch out...I may be moving into illustration next.... (haha!)

    Adorable card ! I don't know this book but I love your take on the cover. Love how you coloured the hens and you are right to be proud of your grass, it's just perfect to ground your image. Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at ATSM.
