The new challenge at The Library has been chosen by Visiting Librarian Michelle, (aka I Card Everyone) and it's Groggle's Monster Valentine by Diana Murray and Bats Langley. This book is new to me but it's about a monster who makes a card so lots of ideas - monsters, crafting, Valentine's...
For my card I used five different sets of stamps, from different manufacturers:I stamped the monster (Concord and 9th), masked him and put a tube of paint (Waffle Flower) in his hand. I stamped the heart (brand unknown), the splatters (Visible Image) and the sentiment (Stampin Up). I coloured with Promarkers and added washi tape.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great interpretation of the book, Marina. I love that monster--especially the colours you've chosen for him. He seems to be having quite the time colouring that Valentine he's trying to create. Thanks so much for sharing with us at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

ReplyDeleteLove your card!
ReplyDeleteI think you’re great at combining stamps from different sets, and when you’ve done so I often believe you’ve used one stamp, before reading on to find out it’s one you’ve composed yourself. This is so cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card. I love that monster squirting the paint... great look on its face while doing something a bit naughty. Thanks for playing with us at Time Out.
