At Inkspirational , Anila has chosen the theme 'no stamping'. It's actually quite hard to do no stamping at all as the temptation (for me) is to stamp on a sentiment at the end! But I resisted!
For my DT card I used my Silhouette digital cutting machine and some cutting files from Lettering Delights. LD make fantastic cutting files which can be time-consuming as there is layer after layer to cut and assemble. I find using these kinds of files quite different to making a stamped card - it's more like using a knitting or sewing pattern where you follow the instructions and end up with something more or less that matches the photo on the packet. My only variations really are to change the colours, add a few drops of gold liquid pearl and a die-cut sentiment.
I hope you'll join in the challenge.

ReplyDeleteA fun card-do love that soft blue with the little stars. Like the wood of the sledge, a fun card!
ReplyDeleteIt’s a really decorative design, I like it being a snow globe theme. This would be a perfect card for my mum, she’s always loved snow globes. She’s received several from me over the years, but never a card version one.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Jo x
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous! Have a beautiful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteIt’s beautiful! I love making all die cut cards but they are definitely more work.
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job with all those layers. The card turned out just perfect. I love how the die cut sentiment stands out so boldly.

ReplyDeleteMarina... I too wondered about the sentiment as stamping is the easiest way out... I didn't realise that while selecting the theme. But later on got the idea of using some of the word dies I have been hoarding since ages.
ReplyDeleteSo yess... No stamping can be achieved 😂
