Did I miss the cake?

I was late with my (grown-up) nephew's birthday card last week...but at least I got the chance to use these fun sentiments from Wplus9.  The cat is by Katzelcraft, I heat embossed him in black on coloured card, masked him and stencilled the background,

    It's often hard to find a good image and phrase for a belated birthday but this takes the cake Marina! Your masked background details are perfectly masculine and highlight the blue and black details of your image and fun sentiment perfectly. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.
