Here are my cards for Twofer's 'nautical' theme challenge - they both use Woodware submarine stamp and they both have a musical connection:
Here I was inspired by The Beatle's famous Yellow Submarine song. The Beatles silhouette is one I traced with Silhouette Studio when I made this layout a few years ago . This time I made a sentiment using fonts on my computer and cut them all on the Silhouette. I stamped the submarine, masked it and stamped the marble background.
I'd also like to enter:
Little Red Wagon
Watercooler
The Male Room
So, do you spot the musical connection here? By the power of masking I put some dogs inside the submarine and now it's a subwoofer! (A subwoofer is a kind of speaker, as you know!). Then I added some fishes and bubbles to complete the scene.

What a woof, Marina! I admit I did not get the musical connection for your second card until I read the words and then I karacked up! A subwoofer! I was a young girl when the Beatles first rocked the world and had such a crush on Ringo. All the other girls loved Paul, but of course I had to be different! Thanks for the memories your groovy yellow submarine card brought back! And thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #19! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteYou never cease to amaze me with your creativity and imagination... Wonderful cards Marina!
ReplyDeleteFab submarine cards!
ReplyDeleteThanks for going fishin' with the crew from SHOPPING OUR STASH!!
Subwoofer...lol I love your sense of humor. Brilliant. Your yellow sub would have taken me to the beatles even without the silhouettes that marbly backdrop does it. Your pups look like they are enjoying the ride! Thanks for joining in at Twofer Card Challenge #19.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant - you are witty! Love both cards, Marina, Jo x
ReplyDeleteFun submarine cards, so fun and cute!!
ReplyDeleteMarina these cards are so creative, unique and so very clever. Great take on the challenge to use the submarine. Clever masking allowing the dogs to take a trip in the submarine and laughed out loud about the subwoofer x Clever...clever Lady x
