Pencils on Teal

Hi everyone.
For this card I used coloured pencils on coloured cardstock - not my usual MO - I'm not really confident with coloured pencils. I added random white dots as I've seen done by crafters whose flower cards I admire...think I might have overdone it a bit though! ( A bit like catching sight of your bright red cheeks in a shop mirror and realising you've overdone the blusher!)

  1. Lovely card, Marina. I'm not very confident using pencils either, but you've used them beautifully here. xx

  2. It’s kind of dramatic, isn’t it! I do like not only the pencil coloring, but how it looks on the textured paper. (And I know how it is to see the accidental too much blush! Maybe I should invest in a better vanity light!)

  4. I LOVE your white splatters and no, you haven't overdone it....not at all. It's good to experiment and play around with different surfaces and this looks great. I use pencils on Kraft card a lot but not on darker surfaces, unless they're inky ones, lol. Lovely.
Thank you for joining us at Try it on Tuesday.
