Our new challenge at Inkspirational is the word 'gift '.
There are two small children who live next door to us and I made these novelty boxes to fill with chocolates and give them as a small gift. I used the Silhouette cutting machine and used the cutting files pretty much as intended, so there is more craft than creativity on my part. I suppose it's like using a dress or knitting pattern and ending up with the garment on the packet.
Our Guest Designer is Valentyna so I hope you will visit the Inkspirational challenge blog to see what she's made, and also the rest of the Design Team - then enter your project.
These are super cute, the kids will love them! I bet they were also fun to make. Greta work!
ReplyDeleteThese are so adorable, you are so creative and crafting like crazy!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing wrong with making the item exactly as the artist intended. If it enticed you to make it, then it's great as is! Your neighbor children will love them and will probably keep them in their bedrooms as decorations! I think they're adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing them with us for our Boxing Up the Holidays challenge at Cut it Up!

Those lucky children who live next door to you are in for a sweet treat and lots of smiles when they receive these! The face on the reindeer is as cute as can be, and I love the unique shape of each gift box! Brilliant makes!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are your Santa and Rudolph treat boxes! Adorable - and guaranteed to bring mega watt smiles to the kids' faces when you pass them their way (much like the smile I'm wearing in receiving your awesome birthday card - thank you again!!). Cutie-patooties, both!
