I rarely buy the co-ordinating dies to go with stamps. I have a Silhouette electronic die cutter and so if I need a matching die-cut , I try to trace it digitally and cut it out. I think this worked out well here, as I was also able to make a frame card to match.
The stamps here are by Avery Elle. For the woodgrain, I used an embossing folder, smeared with gold ink.

So clever with the silhouette Marina...don't have one of those x The cutting around the fabulous flowers and then incorporating the frame looks great. As does the texture on the embossing and the pop of gold x
ReplyDeleteI usually fussy cut, the old fashioned manual way:) but the silhouette sounds like an awesome machine. Nice touch adding a bit of gold to the EF.
ReplyDeleteLove the contrast between the woodgrain paper and the pretty flowers. Thanks for sharing with us at Winter Wonderland.
ReplyDeletec'est une magnifique carte Marina, j'aime beaucoup ces feuillages d'hiver, merci de jouer avec nos chez CCT, biz
ReplyDeleteI need a lesson from you for tracing! This is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers really stand out against the dark green and that's a clever idea to make the frame around them. I like the gold on the wood too.
