After Snowfall

I noticed a few challenges for one -layer cards - a collaboration between Less is More and AAA Cards, and also Tuesday Throwdown .

This is a re-mix of a spring card I made a while ago. I used the same stamps by Papermania and Clarity (the sentiment here is by Hero Arts) but stamped in greens on white cs.  Here I imagined the same scene but after a heavy fall of snow.  For finishing touches I added some gems and went along the edges with a thin line of silver.

Trouble is, even though I made this card specifically for some cas challenges, I don't really know whether it's cas enough! Is there enough green space? Genres make me nervous!

  1. Haha, I have seen several other cardmaking blogger worry about whether their cards are CAS enough for challenges. I think yours is, but I do know that people's definitions vary. I love your card, the green background with all white stamping is superb!

  4. I wonder the same thing about CAS. I know my style isn't hardcore, ultra CAS, sometimes I might make a 'borderline' CAS card. But this is definitely one layer and the green really is a great contrast to your white scene, which is beautifully made.

  5. Such an atmospheric card, I'd say its CAS but people have varying opinions but as long as you think it is then I'd say that's all that matters and its a lovely card x

  14. I would usually pair snow images with blue but this looks awesome, Marina. What a fabulous colour choice for your base. Certainly CAS and unfussy in my eyes.
