40 Shaker

My baby sister is 40 this week. Yikes! Even the young people are middle aged now!

I designed and cut this shaker card on the Silhouette Cameo. The stamped sentiment is Hero Arts. With hindsight, I wish I'd put in more microbeads, but I'm not going to try ripping it open now!

I'd like to enter:

  1. A terrific idea Marina. I know what you mean about age-my daughter was 50 last Friday and I thought I was only 60 lol

  3. Ohh!! I love shaker cards and this one is fabulous. What you said made me laugh out loud, "even the young people are middle age now....." ha ha ha!! Sounds just about right to me.
Your sister will love this card, DO NOT try to open it to put more micro beads, I'm picturing them all over your work area, it has enough and they look fab.
Thank you for sharing your awesome card with us at SHOPPING OUR STASH, hope you join us again next time.
    Hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.

  9. This is a great shaker card! I think you need to start upping your definition of "middle-aged", though. ;) Thanks for joining us at Naughty or Nice Challenges!

  10. If you'd put more microbeads in the feeling of it being a shaker card might have disappeared, I think. Adding the pink card layer cut with an angle was a great idea, now it's a nice, effective design detail.
