Our challenge at Inkspirational is to use mint and navy.
The colour on the flowers and the base card is a spray ink called Graceful Mint- so it should be mint coloured , right? But even I can see that my mint looks a bit nearer to aqua than the rest of the DT cards! Anyway, the bowl and flower stamps are Stampendous.
I hope you will come and see the slightly greener mint cards of the rest of the DT, and our Guest Designer Tae Eun , and join in the Inkspirational colour fun.

It does look mint and I think leaving the stones uncoloured really adds interest x
ReplyDeleteFantastic card! I think it looks like mint and I love that you didn't colour in the stones. Love that honeycomb background too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like mint to me... So no worries! The layout you used is a classic, thanks for the reminder, I want to use this again. xxx
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job using these two colors. Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Mod Squad Challenge. Good luck, and hope to see you again.

Mint and navy clearly visible to me, Marina! And oh, how that vase of blooms catches my eye, especially with the rocks on the bottom. I need an arrangement like that on my kitchen table! Sooooo pretty!

I believe mint comes in shades ranging from blue to green, and being combined with dark navy blue it sort of picks up the more bluish shine from there as well. I think this is a very beautiful and original color combo, one I'll keep in mind for later as I'm. It sure I'll make the deadline for this challenge. My MIL is coming for a 5 day visit, there are birthdays and work and lots of stuff going on the next to weeks for me.
ReplyDeleteI love those colours!! Fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool flower bowl! Very unique. The colors look fantastic together... it really is a great pair of colors. The honeycomb accent is a great touch!
