Conquering Paper Mountain #4 - Scrapping my Mission

I decided to create a 12x12 scrapbook layout about my project for 2016 - to reduce my mountain of small paper pads.

Some of my pads are unused because I don't like them enough (often magazine freebies), but others are unused because I like them too much!  This pad by My Mind's Eye comes into that category. It is hard to use because it has lovely pictures printed on it, that are hard to use whole (what for?) but I didn't like to waste.

So here I found a way of keeping parts of the pictures in circles. I often hear scrapbookers say they prefer scrapping to card-making because they get to keep the finished project. It's like having your cake and eating it!

  1. What a great idea, I have some 12x12 pads that I love so much I can't bring myself to use them, maybe I could just put a photo on each one of them and say it's my scrap book LOL, seriously though you have made a lovely page

  4. Cool, one of my crafting goal this year is to declutter the stuff at home, buy less of course, I hide my credit card so didn't spend any money on crafting products in January... so far, LOL!
I am with you on using up the piles!

  10. Ok, so I've been to ikea and got my craft room sorted out this weekend, everything boxed up and tidy. My paper mountain? Three full boxes. So I'm now seriously on the 'no more paper' wagon...
