At this time of year I like to make birthday cards that could not be mistaken for Christmas cards! I used a squirrel stamp (new!!) from Clearly Besotted and a CB sentiment from another set. I used scraps of Cosmo Cricket paper and used just a tiny bit for some paper-piecing on the tail.
Have a great day Carol!

What a charming birthday card and you're right-- it was nice to see something totally distinctive and separate from a Christmas card. I love how you made the cute little squirrel be center-stage and I love, love, LOVE the way you incorporated patterned paper into his tail. And then you used the same pattern on the scallop base, which was such a nice touch. This card made me smile and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
