Little Autumn Witch


One day in the summer, my son and I had a lovely afternoon painting in the garden and I made the background you see here, using acrylic paint and stamps on recycled cardboard.

The image is a new one from A Day for Daisies, I coloured it with markers and inks, using autumnal colours. I didn't put a sentiment on because I think this could be used for a 'thank you' or birthday card around Halloween.

    How wonderful to be doing painting with your son. The effect is amazing and it goes so perfectly with that sweet image. Its a beautiful card and I'm so glad you shared it with us at TIME OUT!

    I think the yellow sky gives this scene a lovely and warm autumn feel and the background paper is beautifully made!! I love the image and that we see the back of this cute witch, makes it a bit different...

    This is beautiful! I love the color scheme and I can't believe that you made that background. I totally thought it was patterned paper. Your coloring on the image is also spot on!
