Gorgeous Gown



The challenge at CD Sunday  is 'gorgeous gowns' and for me this is a great chance to use one of my favourite techniques - paper piecing. This lovely poppy paper was in a magazine freebie paper pack.

The fairy is a digi from Daisy Trail Fantasy Digistamp collection for Serif Craft Artist. I coloured her with Promarkers and added Wink of Stella to her wings. For about a day I thought about embellishments and concluded that I just liked it left plain. I have many beautiful embellishments but I very often feel they are not quite right!

    This is lovely. I enjoy paper piecing too. The wink of stella on her wings gives just the right amount of shimmer. Thank you for sharing with us.
