One layer Gifts


see the glitter! 

Still trying to make one layer Christmas cards, spurred on by OLCCC. Their theme this time is 'gifts'. The gifts and the sentiment are from a free-with -magazine set.  I made a semi-circular mask and sponged over it with distress ink, and tried to add further dimension by using a grey marker. Then lots of glitter - that's the sad thing about craft blogging, you just don't get the twinkle!

    Oh I love this non traditional color of the christmas card
    and love the idea of make that white area on your card I will remember this
    the glitter and sparkle looks adorable on your card too

    Purple is my favorite color, but I think I'm out of purple DPs. Of course I could follow your example and use my inks and make it one layer, it looks fab, but I'm still at the level of them turning out looking bland. Not feeling very courageous at the moment, so I'm admiring yours and holding back on my next one layer attempt....

    Wonderful card, I think I should probably start on my Christmas cards to. But we have very hot temperatures here right now, I simply can't get myself to do Christmas cards.
