Our challenge this week at Make My Monday is Flowers.
For my DT card I used a Stampin Up stamp set called Stippled Blossoms. These are 'two step' stamps - you stamp an almost solid one and then a more detailed one. These stamps were unused and in my 'empty box project' box because when I'd tested them out I'd had difficulty matching the stamps up ( it might have been easier if the stamps were clear rather than rubber. )
I decided not to worry about matching up. I made the background by using just one stamp randomly stamped with distress ink. Then I did the 'two-step' thing with two colours of Distress ink, not worrying too much whether they matched and then cutting them out and sticking them on with 3d foam. The 'hello' is from a different Stampin Up set.
Just to recap:
On New Year's day I revealed my stamping shame - a big box of unused stamps - and started my Empty Box project. My aim is to work through the box , one stamp/ stamp set at a time and see if I can use them. If I can't use them, I will dispose of them. The aim is to finish with an empty box.
We'd love you to join us at Make My Monday.

I think you have made a fabulous card with those stamps, I love it. I have thought about getting a "stampamajig" to use with two part stamps but then I think we don't have to be perfect! Our cards are handmade with love!

This is a great stamp! I like how you created a background pattern with it. You should use this stamp more. Take it out of the box!
