Thank You Mentor


My daughter asked me to make a thank you card for the community midwife who has mentored her during her midwifery training.

I used a digital version of Carta Bella Beautiful Moments papers, which I used to fill  shapes in the Silhouette electronic cutting machine and then print and cut. The advantage of using the Silhouette Studio software is that you can scale the patterns - I used the same pattern on the 'thank you' and the bunting, but scaled it larger on the bunting. I outlined everything with a dusky pink marker.

    Gorgeous card, I also love how the scaling works in the silhouette programme and your example here is the brilliant because if you hadn't said no one would of known. Thanks for sharing with us this month at Silhouette Challenges.

    Sometimes a print and cut card looks like a print and cut but yours is very well done.
