1950s High Rise
This week's challenge at CD Sunday is 1950s. My mum must have been a teenager in the 1950s, but I doubt whether Grimsby was this groovy. (And that's not Dock Tower through the window).
I used images from Daisy Trail /Craft Artist 50s Fever and My Craft Studio Fab Glam Fifties. Sorry about the shadows - taking the photo in artificial light - the days are getting shorter already and most of the daylight is while I'm at work!
As well as CD Sunday, I'd like to enter:
The Squirrel and the Fox Happy birthday
Little Red Wagon Back in time
Great 50's image. That record player is just like the one we had. Wow - we didn't even have to wind it up like we did on the one we had before.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joiningg in the challenge.

This is fun! Love the records and the fringe is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove the retro feel of this card. Such a pretty girl and a lovely view! Great card representing the 50's!
ReplyDeleteOh this is wonderful, a very true image of a young teenager, how do I know, I think it could be me. A Dansette record player and 45s on the floor. thanks for being with us in the 1950s at CD Sunday Challenges. Caz
ReplyDeleteA great design, super image of a teenager. I do remember having 45's (still have them) and a record player similar to this but it was the end of the 1950's foe me. Thanks for joining us at CD Sunday this week.
