One of the things I love about crafting is the way we mark the seasons.Now, for example, we're coming to the end of 'Fun in the Sun' and into 'Back to School'. Soon, we'll be getting out our leaf stamps for 'Autumn Colours'.
The image on my card is from Docrafts Tulip and Friends CD and you might notice that the characters have had to put their cardis on before heading to the beach. I don't know where that beach is but there's nothing more British than woollies and flip-flops!
Anyway, I decoupaged one layer of the characters , cut some bunting and added a shell.

sad that Summer is ending but I do love the burst of colours that Autumn brings us. I really like the subtle colours you have used and the added shell is the perfect finishing touch. I have a few shells in my stash but as yet haven't used them-so thanks for the inspiration x

Looks like a typical British summer, although this year we have been lucky. We still have hot sunshine here today :-). Love the image you have chosen and the bunting.

This is my idea of beaching Marina, I love to walk along a blustery beach, wrapped up, still no shoes though. My in-laws used to live near to a really long beach in Cornwall, and we were often down there out of season, and could be found wandering along a deserted beach.
