Inkspirational Challenges - Photo Inspiration Feb wk 2

Here's my DT project for Inkspirational Challenges' Photo Inspiration. (See picture below) . We are sponsored this month by Ecletic Anthology . They have lots of great freebies on their website but I couldn't resist buying their set of '500 antique and vintage images of actresses and dancers.'.

For this card I was inspired by the roses in the Inkspirational photo. I chose this photo of an actress with roses in her hair and digitally layered it with a free frame from the Ecletic Anthology website. Then I printed and cut it out, layered it onto cardstock and added roses, pearls, ribbon and a hat pin. (I don't know why the ribbon looks wonky on here, it doesn't in real life! )

Please come over and join us at Inkspirational Challenges and show us how this photo inspires you.

  1. Marina - oh, vintage perfection and stunningly beautiful! What a treasure of a card, it's a work of art and heart! Love how the roses echo the roses in the actress's hair in that soft image!

  2. Gosh Marina you do vintage perfectly! The whole card gives an air of the old movies and the added flowers around the frame just add to the scene x

  3. It's such a lovely vintage image. The flowers in her hair are perfect for the Inkspirational theme, and I love how you've decorted with the flowers on your card too. So pretty, so feminine!
