Marlena chose slimline cards for our new challenge at
Inkspirational. Although I've made tall cards in the past I've never made one that was officially slimline. I can't help noticing that my slimline card looks slightly chubbier that the rest of the DT's cards! I copied the measurements I found online but I've never been great at measuring!
I used a Stamping Bella skier, paper-piecing her jacket and colouring with Promarkers. The background scene is Neat and Tangled trees, Promarkers and a white gel pen.

What a perfect image for the slimline design and loving the paper piecing. Fabulous card and 'chubby' is good x.
ReplyDeleteWe are neighbors in the gallery at Make My Monday, so I wanted to drop by and say Hi Neighbor. Your slimline is very fun and terrific winter scene.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter scene! Her paper pieced jacket looks like a real ski jacket pattern. I don't think there are any "rules" about the exact size for a slimline! :D Also, thanks for adding this at Addicted to Stamps and More.

Oooh I love your scene Marina! So many levels and pops of color. Perfection!
ReplyDeleteA delightful winter scene, Marina! Your girl is 'made' for a slimline card; such impressive paper piecing! I think slimline measurements range from tall/thin, to shorter/wider. Whatever works for you, works! I love this!
