Fast Flowers

I decided to enter the speed stamping challenge at As You Like It.  Tbh, I only just scraped in at under ten minutes , and only because I had everything ready beforehand and had had a previous, failed attempt. It may have helped if I hadn't, at one stage, inked the back of the stamp by accident - luckily I realised just before touching it onto the card!

Anyway, the flower stamp was a magazine freebie years ago .. I think it was designed by Visible Image. Behind the 'enjoy' , I also stamped some splatter stamps.

As well as As You Like It, I'd also like to enter:

  1. Love this card the green is so vibrant and striking and the design bang on. 10 minuets is a very short space of time well done.

  3. Even with preparation I think it’s an achievement to have done this in 10 minutes. And it’s such a beautiful card too.

  4. Great design and colour choice: the splatters, free-form flowers and bright green all support the sentiment. Good planning is the secret to speed challenge success but I couldn't help smiling at the inking of the stamp back - haven't we all done that one time or another! Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It Challenge.

  7. it always stresses me out when I have to count down the time I spend making a card. I focus more on the lapse of time than on the card itself ! So, bravo, you did a fabulous work in 10 minutes. And what a great idea to use this stamp flower to make your splashes. Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More.

  10. I've done that, inking the back of a stamp! I always do something like that during a speed challenge, which is what causes me to dread them. No matter how well I have my project planned, something unexpected always goes wrong! But no matter - you created a great looking card anyway! I love those bright free form flowers along with the splatters and the bold sentiment! Thanks for getting your adrenaline pumping with our speed challenge at As You See It Challenges!
