There's a new challenge at The Library today.
I admit I haven't read the whole of 'I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings ', only excerpts. It's a beautifully written but upsetting autobiography.
For my first card I was inspired both by the cover and the idea of an autobiography. I used a mix of Distress and Distress Oxide inks for the background and stamped the sentiment and the bird.
I'd like to enter:
Creatalicious shaped card
Aud Sentiments
QKR Stampede
Cut it UP die-cut (card base) and favourite colour (haven't really got a fave colour but I use orange a lot on my cards as it always seems to give them a lift)
My second card has nothing to do with the cover or story - I just took the words bird and cage from the title.
I'd like to enter:
Shopping Our Stash leaf
Aloha Friday birthday
Seize the Birthday
Craftaholics
Please come to The Library and join in!

Orange is my second favorite color! The bird flying on an upward angle certainly gives this card a positive attitude.
