Look how they SHINE for you...

I hope you like this card as I think it is my favourite card I have made this year, although I guess some would find it a bit plain!

The polar bear is by Stampin Up and I masked him and stamped the scenery (all one stamp, also by Stampin Up). The stars and the sentiment are by Sarah Hurley. I added glitter and liquid pearl.

As soon as I saw the sentiment I recognised it as the first line from 'Yellow' by Coldplay. I saw Coldplay perform at Glastonbury about ten years ago . My brother and I were in a dark, waterlogged field watching the band and it was quite magical except that my brother kept saying things like 'I think Coldplay are over-rated.'!

If I wasn't on the DT there, I'd enter this into the 'shine' challenge at Inkspirational .

I'd like to enter:

  11. Gorgeous, Marina, absolutely gorgeous! The sentiment, the bear, gazing up at the stars, the beautiful trees...yes, this is a gem. Your trees are so eye-catching; I think Moxie Fab is having a tree inspired challenge, which I think you should check out. Going back for another look...I'm loving this!

  12. This is my favourite one that you have made. I love all the white space - I'm a "less is more" type of person. The sentiment is great (I'm a big Coldplay fan) and the images are so pretty x x

  13. No, this is not a plain card...this is simply elegant. White space gives such a peaceful feeling to this card and doesn't detract from the main focus...that lovely scene. Nice work. So glad you shared it over at Red Carpet Studios!
