40th Birthday - Summer in Winter

I made this pop-up box card for a December birthday but the birthday girl loves sunshine holidays and I thought this'd stand out from her Christmas cards! 

I used a mix of dies cut from a Silhouette digital cutter and a sentiment stamp (MFT I think) .

For my DT card I used a Pure Innocence digital image , coloured with Promarkers - she looks cozy in her scarf and gloves, doesn't she? Personally, in the snow I'd need a thermal base layer and a huge coat too!

Sorry for the VERY late posting of my Inkspirational Challenges DT card , the challenge being:

This card is for my son's birthday - it's not till next week but I have no fear that he'll see this post as he has zero interest in mum's blogging!  

I used a big background stamp (Hero?) and cut the silhouettes on my silhouette machine.
