New Year 2021

 

Well, this is very retro...who has parties these days?!

I made this card for a reminder post for The Library Challenge , which is to pick any previous book/s and I chose :

For my card I used a Stamping Bella image, coloured with Promarkers. The clock, cut out of glitter card, is an old Tim Holtz/ Sizzix die, the numbers were cut on my Silhouette and the background is a Sizzix/ Tim Holtz texture fade (I think it's called Rays.) .

Inkspirational Challenges - Something in your home

 

The new challenge at Inkspirational is to be inspired by something in your home , so I chose the toaster and an egg cup! (Not the mice; I have no mice at home). 

The stamp is Penny Black, coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment was cobbled together by cutting bits from two other stamp sets.

Last night I made these treat bags for the children who live next door. I wanted to use the 'candy hugger' characters , which are Lori Whitlock cutting files but I wanted to give them a few chocolates as well, so I made the little bags and stuck the huggers onto them. I added a loop of ribbon to the top.

A last minute Christmas card.... Here I used one of the old Pure Innocence digistamps, coloured with Promarkers and cut out.  The pine-tree scene behind him is a Woodware stamp and the sentiment is Hero Arts.

The Library Challenge - Anthology (Pick a Previous book)

Here's a card made for the reminder post at The Library.  This challenge is to be inspired by any previous book and I chose Elmer and The Rainbow. 

The elephant and sentiment are by Avery Elle. The stripes are a Uniko stamp, coloured with Spectrum shimmer pens.

The Library Challenge - Anthology - The Snowman

I made a card for my 'Anthology' challenge at The Library   - I chose the book , The Snowman : easy! 

My snowman was a free digital download from a magazine - in fact, the patterned papers were free from past magazines too, and the snowflake was a digital Silhouette file designed by me, so overall, a very cost-effective card!

For my DT card I used a Pinkfresh Studio skiing bear stamp and a Spectrum Noir shimmer pen and a white gel pen. Simple!
