The new book at The Library is All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot.
For my first card (top) , I was clearly inspired by the cover, This country scene was printed from a My Craft Studio CD - it was a uncoloured image in the No Stamp Required folder, so I coloured it with Promarkers and stamped a sentiment.

For my second card I took inspiration from the title- this being a small creature! I cut the sentiment on the Silhouette and used the negative , putting striped paper behind it. Then I stamped the sun, bee and trail and added dots to the edges.

ReplyDeleteI love the scene created in your first card. And the simplicity of your 2 nd one. Thank you for sharing them with us at CDSunday WynnDT
ReplyDeleteTwo fab cards, love the scene on the first one, but the second one is just the cutest!
ReplyDeleteI love the cards you created with the inspiration book - two different takes and both are lovely. The color black, white, and yellow color scheme is so fresh. It's fun to use the negative for words. I often use that technique for scrapbook layout titles.

Two really different design versions with the same source of inspiration. I think your coloring with different shades of green is so well done, a lovely countryside scene. The striped sentiment on the second card is a great graphic detail for a clean design.
