Inkspirational Challenge - Note.

Our first challenge for 2015 at Inkspirational and we have a fabulous new look , designed by Kylie, and a wonderful guest designer, Marika.
The challenge is:

My project is a notebook which I made as a gift for my (grown up) niece.  I used Amy Tangerine 'Yes Please' papers, a Bind it All cover and I cut the page tabs, tags, pockets on my Silhouette cutting machine.
Inside front

I made a bookmark my die-cutting a camera in shrink plastic, colouring it, shrinking it and tying it onto twine.

Inside back cover pocket

somewhere in the middle

The whole thing was bound with the Bind-it-All.

I hope you will come over to Inkspirational and share your project using the word prompt - note.

I'd like to enter:
Seema Crafts anything goes
Silhouette Challenges  anything goes (Silhouette used for page tabs, tags, pockets)
Shopping Our Stash  3 patterned papers

Challenged! - Back to School/ Pencil lines 251

Pencil Lines have been offline for a few weeks and I’m glad they’re back as I wanted a sketch to use to scrap this photo.

I’ve used Papermania Kraft paper; Autumn Leaves / Rhonna Farrer patterned paper and epoxy sticker ; stickers and diamond pattern paper from Piggy Tales; and the ribbon and button were just wallowing in shoeboxes. I’ve used real coloured pencils as an embellishment.

I’d also like to enter this for http://clearitoutchallenge.blogspot.com/   Back to School.

Doing the Docrafts

I love the Docraft goodie bags and the free gifts they give with their mag, but they do mean that I often end up with stuff I wouldn’t normally buy.

So I’m setting a regular challenge for the My Perfect Life Design Team . (That’s me!) I’ll be digging out some of the Docrafts stuff and trying to use it up.

First up, these 12x12 papers from a goodie bag a few months ago. They’re not my taste and I think they’re a bit old fashioned. In fact, this month Docraft brought out a new ‘birthday – theme’ range that’s more contemporary.

I’m going to a party tonight and decided to use them to wrap the present etc. I made a gift bag decorated with 3 lollipops. In addition to the Docrafts papers I used glitter, plain cardstock, adhesive, gems, one sticker and die cutting equipment. Here’s the finished article.

Pencil Lines Sketch 250

Another great sketch from Pencil Lines http://www.pencillines.com/, and I really enjoyed doing this layout. The paper and stickers are October Afternoon 'Boarding Pass' and I coloured the little tags with ink and stamped them with random stamps. I did experiment with laying them out in a more bunting-style, but just couldn't make it work.

Pencil Lines 249

I love the sketches at http://www.pencillines.com/ and have made this layout using this week's. I used Echo Park 'Life is Sweet' papers.
